The First Tee of Central Iowa is a youth development organization that teaches life skills and healthy habits through the game of golf.

Our chapter of The First Tee was founded in 2007 as a non-profit entity of The Golf Foundation of Iowa.

Since our inception, we have impacted the lives of over 10,000 youth annually in Central Iowa through our certification program, National School Program, DRIVE Programs and community outreach. No child is ever turned away – scholarships are available to those unable to afford the cost of the certification program.

The First Tee of Central Iowa holds programming at the DSM Driving Range, Warrior Run, Willow Creek, Jester Park, Grinnell College and Bright Grandview Golf Courses.

We don’t just build better golfers.  We build character.
